Big Night Entertainment Group is looking for a talented and driven Recruiting Assistant to help support the Boston-based HR team. This full-time, hourly position is an office-based role with flexibility to work from home on occasion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities As a Recruiting Assistant, a typical day might include the following: Supporting the Boston-based HR team and hiring managers with the recruitment function Collaboratively consulting with hiring managers to determine current hourly staffing needs Updating job descriptions and postings Evaluating applications, reviewing resumes and completing initial prescreens for hourly positions as needed Conducting reference and background checks Delivering a seamless and positive recruiting experience for all candidates Assisting with organizing and participating in career fairs, college recruiting and other hiring events Maintaining and auditing Kronos HRIS system in regards to the recruitment platform Creating and distributing key reports on a weekly and bi-weekly basis Administrative duties such as filing and record keeping Other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: High School Diploma required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred Human Resources, Recruitment, or Administrative experience is required At least one year of direct high-volume recruiting experience in a similar environment is preferred Hospitality experience is a plus Bi-lingual, Spanish-speaking is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality A passion for recruitment and an interest in learning the Human Resources function is a must Physical Demands / Work Environment / Hours The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
