Qualifications:
Track record of modeling Christian maturity and kingdom values in both professional and personal life.
Passionate love for Christ demonstrated through consistent practices of prayer, bible reading, serving, and giving.
Passionate love for people demonstrated by shepherding family, friends, staff, and volunteers.
Pastoral experience in a mid-sized or large church setting.
Undergraduate or graduate theological education is desired.
Description:
Love, lead, and shepherd the congregation and community in partnership with the rest of the pastoral team.
Develop a Sunday morning gathering experience that is faithful to God and hospitable to a diversity of people.
Partner with the Lead Pastor in the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of worship gatherings.
Oversee and develop all gathering ministry staff including; full-time production staff, communications staff, and contractors.
Plan creative and innovative ways to use music to reach the community and world evangelistically.
Recruit, train, lead and shepherd those who serve in gathering ministries: worship team, production team, and connections team.
Shepherd a diverse congregation into the presence of God by emphasizing participation over performance or production.
Demonstrate strong musical giftings in vocal performance, instrumental skillset, and music theory. (Nashville Number System, Charting, ect)
Lead worship team rehearsals.
Use Planning Center Online (PCO) to communicate and prepare for the worship gatherings.
Lead in the recruitment, auditions, and development of new musicians and vocalists.
Evaluate worship gatherings and provide feedback to team members for their coaching and development.
Develop and responsibly maintain the annual gathering ministries budget.
Creatively utilize and implement technology/music assets available to you; including L’Acoustics Line Array PA system, wireless IEM system, Logic recording suite, various studio grade microphones, video equipment, and an array of house instruments. (Ludwig custom classic maple kit w/ Heartbeat cymbals, Fender P-bass, Martin acoustic guitar, etc.)
