| Job Description : | Title of PositionWorship LeaderSupervisor: Senior PastorAdministrative Supervisor: Administrative PastorHours: Part Time (15 hrs/week)Salary: A Pastoral Stipend from ODF monthlyRaise support through ODFJob PurposeTo bring an atmosphere to Open Door Fellowship that invites the congregation to engage in genuine worship.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible to lead or find a leader for all Sunday morning and evening worship servicesPersonally lead both Sunday morning services at least 3 weeks a monthDevelop professional and discipleship relationships with the musicians on the worship team and hold team members accountable to Godly livingWork to maintain and grow worship teamDevelop monthly schedules and communicate to team members and pastoral stewardsManage the worship budget and financial needsEnsure that worship equipment and technology as well as the “Worship Den” are maintained either personally or in coordination with staff or volunteersWork alongside the pastoral staff to develop worship themes/direction, i.e. Christmas, Easter, special servicesWrite and submit monthly elder’s report of ODF worship ministryDevelop a financial support team to provide for the personal salary approved by the elder board. Maintain relationships with support team through regular updates, thank you notes, and personal meetings when possible.Attend Sunday morning service at Open Door FellowshipAttend Open Door Fellowship staff meetings – 2-4 Tuesdays each monthAttend weekly/bi-weekly meetings with Administrative PastorAttend monthly meetings with Senior PastorAttend Chapel Services (2 services/year)Other duties as assignedQualificationsProficiency in either guitar or pianoBe comfortable speaking, reading and giving simple directions before groupsExperience working in a church setting is a plusAbility to use technology equipment including computers, digital projectors and sound equipment required (basic training provided)An engaging and gracious personalityIntangiblesDemonstrate heartfelt servant leadership as a member of the Open Door Fellowship staffModel a consistent and authentic daily relationship with ChristShow respect for the leadership and members of Open Door FellowshipCommit to pray for those under your leadershipWork Environment and Physical DemandsThis job involves sitting, standing and walkingAbility to move 25 lbs.Job Type: Part-timePay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
