Job Description : This is a Hybrid position – We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic event planner to produce events from conception through to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.ResponsibilitiesEvent planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limitsLiaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfactionConduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any dealsProvide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholdersPropose ideas to improve provided services and event qualityOrganize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etcEnsure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligationsSpecify staff requirements and coordinate their activitiesCooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize eventProactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event dayConduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomesResearch market, identify event opportunities and generate interestSkillsProven experience as an events planner or organizeExcellent time management and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyMS Office proficiencyWilling to submit references from previous clientsJob Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Terre Haute, IN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Events management: 1 year (Preferred)Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
