The Disney Theatrical Productions Domestic Touring Department is hiring a coordinator to work on all aspects of marketing campaigns for the National Tours of Disney’s THE LION KING, ALADDIN and FROZEN. This individual will actively promote and maintain a cohesive working environment, partnering with internal departments, external vendors and presenters in the local tour cities. The individual will help coordinate the production and trafficking of all advertising materials as well as collaborate on overall local marketing efforts for our Touring Shows. The ideal candidate for this role is enthusiastic, organized, able to balance a large volume of varying projects and has a keen interest in the field of marketing.

Responsibilities :

The position will report directly to the Manager, Domestic Touring on projects in the following areas:
CREATIVE ASSET PRODUCTION & TRAFFICKING:
Serve as project manager for the creative production of tour marketing materials. Receive specs and deadlines for ads (print, digital, outdoor and front of house) and provide direction to in-house and freelance designers.
Manage asset production schedule and circulate creative for approval by key internal & external stakeholders. Ensure all assets are delivered accurately and on time.
Receive radio & television spots from local marketing contacts and traffic to digital agencies for all marketing campaigns.
Manage internal creative asset management websites and distribute to marketing partners and graphic designers in touring markets.
MARKETING STRATEGY & TIMELINE:
Work with Manager to determine each market’s schedule of presales and single ticket on sale date, managing a large calendar of key dates across all tours.
Schedule and design all priority offer email blasts in collaboration with internal and external partners and vendors. Route all priority offer communications for approval, ensuring inclusive messaging and accurate sales information.
Participate in strategy calls with local venue marketing teams to develop the advertising plan in each market.
Compile and quantify the results of ongoing strategies to expand marketing outreach to a diverse audience in each tour market.
DIGITAL & SOCIAL MARKETING:
Interface with various external marketing agencies that support the department in digital advertising efforts (such as search engine marketing, programmatic display, paid social ads, streaming OTT buys, influencer outreach) confirming that plans are in place and assets are delivered to all necessary parties.
Distribute new social media content to local markets in a timely manner as it becomes available.

Basic Qualifications :

Strong project management skills, keeping multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through completion in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Willingness to work collaboratively within a group as well as independently with little supervision.
Solid understanding of and interest in marketing and advertising.
Strong written communication skills with ability to cater messaging to different audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.
Self-starter with exceptional time management skills, attention to detail and initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of advertising materials and creative asset production process.
1-2 years of experience working in a marketing/digital agency or entertainment industry a plus.

Preferred Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, Communications, Marketing or equivalent work experience preferred but not required.
