Irvin.Requirements & CompetenciesAbility to maintain a cheery disposition while quickly and courteously responding to guestsAbility to contribute to building a positive team spirit and working well with othersAbility to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected eventsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The Tour Guides are expected to work variable shifts and must be available to work weekends. Approximately 8-28 hours per week. This schedule is subject to change.UniformTour Guides must provide their own khaki pants, dress slacks, or shorts at or below the knee (jeans are not allowed). The DECC will provide shirts with the William A.
