The Role:
Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a Script Coordinator to join the production team on a new 52 episode CGI series running from their LA office.
Responsibilities:
Assist the writers in their daily production functions including but not limited to:
Maintain and coordinate writing schedule.
Attend writer’s meetings and prepare follow-up notes.
Transcribe notes into the correct format for submission to the writers, internal teams and network.
Distribute premise, outlines, and script drafts and revisions internally and to the network.
Coordinate feedback to the writers and network accordingly and inline with the schedule
Attend network story meetings; prepare and distribute follow-up notes for writers and EIC.
Maintain and update a comprehensive database and files of premises, outlines, and scripts, including all drafts and submissions.
Attend weekly production meetings and provide updates at meetings and for relevant stakeholder updates.
Prepare, track, and catalogue premise, outline, and script submissions to network; track and catalogue network notes.
Follow up with the network to receive notes on schedule.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
2+ years experience in production management or an internship in children’s animation or a related field
Knowledge of Final Draft and Google Drive/Sheets
Strong Production Management skills and knowledge of the animation pipeline
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be comfortable working across multiple time zones and multi-tasking multiple projects at once
Must be a self-starter and have excellent teamwork skills
