| Job Description : | Currently hiring enthusiastic and fun individuals with a passion for games, puzzles and entertainment. In-character interactions consistent with the room themes are required, including wearing specific costumes and using appropriate voices. Our Performer/Game Masters must be able to adapt to different scenarios and think quickly on their feet to tailor their interactions to be specific to each group. Escape room enthusiasts who enjoy acting are highly encouraged to apply! All applicants must be organized, self-motivated and have excellent time management, multi-tasking, and people skills. An engaging and fun personality is also a must. If you don’t enjoy fun interactions with people, this job is not for you!Position Summary:Responsibilities include:Greeting customers enthusiastically, leading players into the game rooms, introducing game scenarios, and giving verbal safety instructions while in-character and wearing the costume specific to the room. Providing in-character interactions during the game and also during the post-game team debrief.Providing excellent customer service and memorable gaming experiences. This includes staying up to date on all products, policies and procedures to be able to accurately answer questions.Handling game bookings and inquiries in-person, over the phone and online.Monitoring game rooms using audio/video and computer software and providing hints to players during games.Meeting groups after the game has concluded, providing positive commentary on their game, taking team photos, and posting team photos.Following strict reset and cleaning protocols after each game.Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the establishment and ensuring maintenance issues are brought to management’s attention immediately. Includes light janitorial duties such as vacuuming, dusting and mopping.Having fun! We want our employees to enjoy their jobs, while providing positive, memorable experiences for our customers.Job Requirements:Acting and improv skills.Be comfortable sitting for an hour at a time. Bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, and walking also required.Proven, enthusiastic customer service skills.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Software).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Previous escape room employment is highly recommended, but not required for this position. Training is provided.A love of games and puzzles is a must, as all employees are required to complete our escape rooms as part of our training program.
