PRIMARY PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Owner Operations Supervisor is to provide refined luxury service for Condominium Owners, handling all Owner questions and concerns related to rental inventory and reservations while ensuring rate integrity and a fair rental rotation system. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain effective communications with all Hotel operational departments to effectively resolve situations impacting guest service or malfunctions of departmental equipment Ensure the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s service standards and brand attributes Responsible for the execution and distribution of departmental reports to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist in the formulation and justification of the departmental budget and provide supporting documentation for new programs and expenditures Provide hiring recommendations that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; training; coaching; performance feedback, recommending and administering discipline, and scheduling; create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction Provide ideas and suggestions for new products, services, technology and processes to ensure a competitive position and in anticipation of changing guest needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment Adhere to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy, comply with company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements Perform other job-related duties as requested KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms Able to lead and mentor a team Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of related experience Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays PREFERRED: One (1) year of Condominium Owner Operations experience in a similar environment Experience in a similar resort setting Experience with wholesale forecasting, call volume, on sale dates, and event dates Professional level comprehension of GDS/Synxis, Internet and Extranet |
