The Meeting and Events Coordinator will organize and support meetings and events of all sizes across the company. This position will manage and execute meetings and events across the company. The Coordinator is part of our Human Resources and Communications team and will support HR initiatives.
General Responsibilities Include:
Organize and manage logistics for meetings and events—from smaller meetings, events in regional offices, to all company- including catering, entertainment, transportation, location, equipment, etc.
Ensure budget, expenses, contracts, and reconciliations are managed on a per-event basis.
Lead vendor selection, negotiate and execute contracts.
Assists in event planning, design, and production while managing all product delivery elements. Always looking ahead to plan the next events on the calendar.
Responsible for coordinating travel for employees and guests as needed.
Follows up with vendors, guests, and others post-event.
Assists in administrative tasks as requested by Human Resources and Communications team.
Requirements:
Proven track record in executing successful events within budget
Service-oriented, collegial, and able to work effectively with colleagues and vendors at all levels to implement successful events
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Well-organized, proactive with excellent multi-tasking abilities
Excellent communication skills
Outstanding vendor management skills
Team player—recognizes that for an event to be successful it takes a team effort!
Problem solver—you see a challenge and find a solution
Creative—you love to brainstorm to come up with wacky and fun ideas
