Media Coordinator (Chicago-based) General Job Description: Weigel Broadcasting has an immediate opening for a Media Coordinator. The newly created role will be responsible for managing media assets for the Svengoolie production team. Duties/Responsibilities: Ingest, name, tag and maintain a streamlined, organized database for all current and future assets, including live, studio and field-based video elements on a time-sensitive base. Group and sync multi-cam footage. Collaborate with Operations and Production Management to manage database development. Partner with senior editors on ongoing media needs Execute organizational workflows for large, multi-element projects and events. Maintain best practices of library maintenance Other duties, as assigned. Requirements: Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for job, if not currently employed by Weigel Broadcasting Co. Experience archiving and maintaining audio/video assets. An understanding of broadcast audio/video basics is required (timecode, HD and SD video formats, aspect ratios etc) Experience with Adobe Premiere is required. Experience with Avid iNews is preferred.
