Job Description : Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Transporation Manager to join our family! The Manager of Venue Transporation will be responsible for the day-to-day parking operations of SS&E owned and managed properties and other assigned sites. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and implement parking plans for all events at the AT&T Center and Toyota Field. They will partner closely with our local police and sheriff’s departments regarding logisitics of ingress egress of events when needed, and be the liason for our transporatation vendors such as Uber and lyft.

Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of parking operations for 100 + events per year for our venues. Plan, implement, and communicate parking and traffic processes for events held inside and outside SS&E owned property.
Support LAZ parking staff (approximately 75 employees) to ensure they can meet strategic goals while maintaining the best of industry standards. Analyze Service Scout performance for LAZ to share feedback for mentoring and training.
Maintain relationships and collaborate with numerous external clients to include law enforcement, local emergency responders, Bypass, O&S, TX Department of Transportation (TXDOT), Public Works, Alliance Transportation, Freeman Coliseum staff, San Antonio Rodeo staff, and others as to ensure SS&E owned properties maintain the highest of standards.
Research and develop parking policies and procedures (to be implemented by LAZ staff) that are in alignment with our values. Ensure policies and programs are relative to the event and aligned with applicable laws.
Lead and maintain all department projects, financial records, auditing of collections, and maintain the annual budget. Inventories and evaluates conditions of department equipment to align with traffic and parking requirements.
Analyze traffic patterns and recommended the best routes for ingress and egress for all guests visiting our venues.
Handle parking feedback and responses from internal and external guests. Collaborate with our event departments and LAZ to ensure that all guests needs are addressed. Respond and resolve parking concerns or needs for staff and patrons as well as TXDOT, County Public Works, the City, and the traffic support vendor.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (supervisory, management).
Proven experience working with large amounts of cash, in bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, or cash handling.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A valid Texas State driver license is required.
Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work long hours, including overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays. This is an Event based position. Reliability is strongly measured.
Must have the flexibility to adapt to a hybrid work environment, where some work (30%) can be performed remotely, but the candidate relies on access to facilities and/or equipment to perform the duties of this role.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with diverse staff, tenacious work ethnic.
Intermediate knowledge of computer programs and software
Must be detail focused and highly organized with an ability to simultaneously balance multiple tasks and adapt to change.
Ability to complete projects and resolve issues expeditiously, independently and with minimal direction; ability to exercise initiative and good judgment.
Meet dress standards as a representative of SS&E, professional dress is highly reflective of our brand.
Ability to lift, pull, push and/or carry 25 pounds, as needed. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and navigate through stairways during a standard shift.
This role requires the physical ability to patrol both inside and outside of arenas during all seasons of the year and possible extreme weather conditions.
Preferred Experience:
Experience as a Parking Manager in a sports and entertainment industry, preferred. Experience in the management and development of a large workforce.
Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
Acquired CPR Certification (required while in position).
Knowledge of Basic First Aid, preferred.
