| Job Description : | LOBBY AMBASSADOR/SERVER | PALIHOUSE SANTA MONICA POSITION PROFILE: It is the primary responsibility of the Lobby Ambassador/server to welcome and initiate the overall first impression of our guest’s experience. This position proactively welcomes and engages with our guests, enhancing their experience by fielding inquiries, promoting our hotel amenities, and facilitating a welcoming and efficient experience. In addition, this position will assist guests with any food and beverage requests, as well as food delivered to the lobby, terrace, or through in-room dining. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including but not limited to): Create a positive, memorable, and efficient guest engagement within the hotel lobby and front desk. Provide engaging, entertaining, and inspiring guest service while meeting all property standards. Proactively greet guests within the lobby environment, identifying guest needs and fulfilling appropriately. Monitor traffic flow and guest queues within lobby and assist with directing guests, as appropriate, in order to minimize wait times. Manage queuing system and procedures in accordance with property policies. Actively addresses, and assist to resolve guest concerns, following service recovery protocols. Enthusiastically promote all the amenities at the hotel. Proactively promotes food and beverage offerings to guests sitting in the lobby and take delivered food orders to guests. Assists with the delivery of all in-room dining orders. Maintain a comprehensive and accurate knowledge of all in-house guests, events, amenities, and general information to be able to better assist with customer service. Assists with facilitating lobby cleanliness, and security. Engage, entertain, and inspire all who visit the hotel by ensure our guests receive excellent customer service from the moment they arrive at our hotel. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.
