| Job Description : | La Mer Beachfront Resort is looking for an experienced Hospitality Professional to join our team as a Night Auditor/Night Front Desk Agent.The hours for the Night Auditor are OVERNIGHT(11:00 pm to 7:00 am). This position requires the employee be available overnights, weekends and holidays.The main responsibility of the Night Auditor is to prepare the front desk for the next day’s arrivals and settle out the financials for the previous day. This includes, but is not limited to:Ensuring all revenues, receipts, and room accounts are balanced at the end of the night prior to the start of the next day.Completing required reports.Making necessary corrections to guest accounts.Relaying messages to housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems.Delivering requested items to guests, as needed.Performing the responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent during the shift.The main responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent include, but are not limited to:Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests of the hotel.Obtaining and processing proper payment from the guest.Reviewing accounts and charges with guests during the checkout process.Making and confirming reservations over the phone and in-person.Answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.Recording guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers when necessary.Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.At least one (1) year of Hospitality and/or customer service experience is required.Must be proficient in basic computer programs and software, including Microsoft Office.Must be able to communicate effectively, be polite, courteous, and responsive to our guests.Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.Must be organized and detail oriented.Job Type: Part-timeBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Cape May, NJ 08204: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Hotel/Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
