Knowledge of VFX workflows required – please indicate if you have Deadline/Pipeline/Other workflow experience. Production experience is also a job requirement! Additionally, candidates should have extensive knowledge of PC hardware, servers & Win/Mac software. You need to have comprehensive knowledge of: Windows Sys Admin, Active Directory & Exchange Administration; Expert level knowledge of Macintosh Open Directory (server) environments; network administration & troubleshooting; system administration in multi-platform server environments. Candidates should also have excellent knowledge of graphics & asset based workflows. We troubleshoot Mac & PC desktops, workstations, graphic plugins & scripting, network errors and render nodes.Comprehensive understanding of entertainment industry workflows is a job requirement. We administer Macintosh & Windows servers in a high volume short deadline production environment. Knowledge of Windows System Admin workflows and secure permissions based practices a must. Exchange administration a plus. Candidates with VFX experience & workflow experience with Fuse/Maya/3dfx/Ftrack/Deadline/Aspera will be called first!Job Description: The IT tech will work closely with other members of the support team and work regularly with members of other departments while troubleshooting and resolving issues. Must have exceptional time management skills and be able to prioritize. Previous knowledge in a Help Desk position is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a user-friendly support attitude. Must speak English, live locally and commute reliable.
