A strong company culture inspires staff to achieve the highest service standards in hospitality.SUMMARY: Accommodates guests of the hotel by performing the following dutiesQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guestsHandles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrityPromptly and effectively deals with guest requests and complaintsAnswers and routes calls as appropriate; takes guest messages with accuracyResponsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shiftMaintains accurate records including cash flows, registration card, reservation cards, and property walksMaintain a complete knowledge of hotel features and services. Hours of operation, all room rates, special packages and promotions. Local shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.Offers and properly handles requests for wake-up callsCommunicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery).Replenishes continental breakfast as needed and keeps area cleanResolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.Ensures common area/lobby is cleanPerforms laundry functions as directedAll other duties as assignedEssential Requirements: Speak clearly and listen carefully.Use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to provide adequate information.Communicate well with all guests and employees.Multitasking: Answering calls, talking to guest, responding to other departments, assisting with breakfast and lobby.Language Skills : Must have developed language skills: Read and understand instructions, safety rules etc. Write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar, using all parts of speech.
