They are the salespeople and customer service representatives – essentially, the physical embodiment of the property. More than the building itself, the methods and manners of the Guest Services Representatives form ideas in customers’ minds as to what AmericInn is really all about.Must be available WeekendsShifts May Include7 am – 3 pm 3 pm – 11 pmResponsibilities and DutiesOverall, the Guest Services Representative is responsible for:Sales of the guest roomsCustomer serviceSafety and securityMore specifically, the Guest Services Representative is responsible for:Greeting arriving guestsSelling available guest rooms and up-selling featuresAccurately processing a guest’s reservationAccurately processing payments and chargesCommunication on the telephone and in personProvide assistance for any guest inquiryMonitor the activities within the property, the distribution of keys and access to the buildingMaintain the lobby, front desk, and common areas during each shiftMonitor the activities, towels, and equipment in the pool areaKnow all safety precautions, emergency procedures, and be familiar with the building systemsQualifications and SkillsEDUCATION: High School Diploma or the equivalent required as a minimum.
