|Job Description :||The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing the highest level of service possible to guests; in an efficient, courteous and professional manner during check in, throughout their stay and at check out. Must be able to follow the Marriott standards of hospitality and adhere to guidelines and procedures.Duties & Functions:Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.Maintain a friendly demeanor at all times.Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk.Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a timely manner.Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation and entertainment in the local area.Be aware of all rates, packages, special promotions and groups.Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
