Job Description : The Fireworks Manager (seasonal) manages the fireworks technicians and the administrative team for Disney Live Entertainment at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Fireworks Manager (seasonal) will assist the team by providing Leadership for Entertainment Fireworks Technicians and Hourly Non-Union Cast Members that are supporting the storage, packing and distribution of fireworks product and equipment, as well as supporting shows and events containing special effects and pyrotechnics.

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, Fireworks product and equipment inventory management, Fireworks product and equipment procurement and logistics, and support of WDW Entertainment Park Operations.

Basic Qualifications :

3 to 5 years professional experience in theatrical or event production and/or stage management
Demonstrated experience with STCU/IATSE bargaining agreements as well as technician management
Familiarity with Company Policy
Familiarity with financial and project systems such as R2, SAP, and other data base management solutions
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation software, Outlook and Internet
Proven successful team-building experience
Demonstrated strong delegation, partnering, and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with all levels of management over multiple sites
Proven ability to initiate, organize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
Proven strong analytical and administrative skills
Ability to be cleared by the FELC as an Employee Possessor

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Fireworks Industry experience
Knowledge of business practices and procedures

Required Education :

High school degree or equivalent

Preferred Education :

B.A. or B.S. in technical entertainment field or equivalent
