Job Description : Summary:
The Events Coordinator will play an integral role assisting the Events Manager establishing the Seaport as a customer- and client-focused premium multi-purpose entertainment venue that provides visiting artists, guests, business partners, and corporate clients with memorable, world-class event experiences that are second to none.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to provide excellent event coordination service for the department, recording event data, preparing Banquet event orders, assisting with event operations, and communicating all needs of the event with the internal operations teams.
Responsible for all the operational logistics and correspondences that are sent to clients who have booked functions with the events manager
Oversees and implements the full operational elements of all private contracted events within all CCMC business units
Responsibilities include the management of events including, but not limited to, planning site visits/calls, menu tastings, banquet event order generation, timeline construction, floor plan design, billing estimates and day of partnership with the client/client’s event planner.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Highly organized, intuitive and detail oriented
Ability to produce a substantial quantity of high-quality work efficiently in an environment with multiple priorities and events happening in rapid succession. Time management is essential
Competent with database software. Competent with Excel, Word, Outlook. Proficient in TripleSeat, Resy, Toast and BBot.
Self-starter, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
A love for a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset
Preferred minimum of four years event planning experience
Associates degree or bachelor’s degree
Occasional evening/weekend event attendance required
FLSA WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
