Job Description : Using your keen understanding of broadcast journalism and commentary skills, Esports, and core audience you will make talent choices as they relate to editorial prioritizations, storytelling, excitement, and fandom. Your relationships and expertise will be critical in building compelling and resonant entertainment experiences for our audiences.Day-to-Day: You will participate in story development, piloting processes, and pitch meetings to contribute to our rich esports ecosystem.You will collaborate with others producers on the Story Team, as well as members of the Live Broadcasts, NA Esports Technology, and Events Production to create broadcast plans that build fandom.You will attend and contribute to weekly story meetings and help inform decisions about what stories the team will tell. You will collaborate closely with our Business Development and Publishing teams to staff sponsor integration, press, and content.You will build deep, lasting relationships with on-air talent and partners. You will travel on location to manage and support on-air talent and broadcast efforts.From time to time, you may also assist with planning and on-site management for our International Events.Core Responsibilities: Assess the strengths and weaknesses of on-air talent, primarily in NA + OCE.Consult, collaborate, and author talent assignments for NA + OCE events.Help maintain and develop core competencies to evaluate performance and coach talent.Ideate on public comms and announcement strategies related to on-air talent.Work with lead and senior producers on budget and spending related to on-air talent.Attend story meetings, read throughs, rehearsals as needed.Manage live event on-site logistics, comms, and handling of on-air talent.Collaborate with the senior talent producer on best practices and standards and make sure they practiced evenly across projects.Partner with other internal departments, such as Player Management, Comms, Business Development, and Publishing to drive and fulfil org, press, and sponsor requests for talent.Develop and maintain strong and healthy relationships with on-air talent and partners.Advocate for and balance the interests of on-air talent and product needs.Collaborate with teammates to drive diversity, resilience, and a team first winning cultureWork closely with Business Development and external agencies on contracts and negotiationsRequired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in production.3+ years of experience in talent or influencer management.Extensive knowledge of esports storylines, teams,players, and on-air talent.Solid leadership skills – experience leading a team in a production environment.Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in contract management.5+ years of experience in esports.Position Details: 12-month contract (potential extension)This contract will being REMOTE, but will transition to IN OFFICEMust be LA based or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA$45.00 – $50.00/hr (depending on experience)Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $93,000.00 – $104,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Production: 3 years (Preferred)Talent or Influencer Management: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
