|Job Description :||SUMMARY: This position is responsible for planning events; booking promoters and entertainers; and managing staff.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must adhere to the Jesta Hotels and Resorts policies and procedures.Develops policies and procedures related to Entertainment Department to ensure efficient and effective operations.Provides appropriate long-range plans as required.Implements oversees, and ensures accurate inventory control for all entertainment equipment.Maintains a professional relationship with all artists and executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their program/event.Knowledgeable of the Jesta Hotels and Resorts policies, procedures, and operations.Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.Carries out administrative tasks such as completing paperwork and drawing up contracts.Liaises with third-party production companies, as well as aides the Entertainment Brand Manager in assembling production teams for in-house productions.Researches and books suitable performers and contacts agents.Negotiates bookings and fees.Creates and Executes Run of Show for all entertainment with direction from the Marketing Department.Responsible for all invoicing with the Finance Department.Communication with clients regarding special event requestsObtains items for specific acts.Oversees local event performance and execution.Manages all third-party vendors such as dancers, DJ’s and vendors.Ensures staff are trained and prepared to implement events.Ensures all equipment and assets are available, ready, and working before each event.Uses a creative eye to bring brands to life through experiential events.Audits events to ensure executional excellence and compliance with state sampling laws and local regulations.Manages cross-agency and in-market communications.Follows standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols for issue resolution.Communicates and socializes success, insights, and opportunities.Reports and recaps data and insights for real-time measurement & evaluation.Manages local warehousing with POS and special event assets.Approves and submits staffing payroll and expenses.Performs other related duties as assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Microsoft Powerpoint: 1 year (Preferred)Brand Strategists: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location|
