When you join Vectorworks, Inc., you will work alongside the Director of Events and Employee Experience in creative event design, preparation, coordination, and execution. The Employee Experience Specialist is an integral part of Vectorworks’ employee engagement and drives culture, retention, and the continued success of the organization.
You’ll make an impact by:
Assisting in all logistical aspects of company events (virtual, hybrid and in-person) including creative design process, negotiating contracts, venue (or platform) selection, food and beverage, speakers/facilitators, audio/visual equipment set-up and use, etc.
Maintaining the Events team calendar and Trello board
Maintaining and working within a given budget for all events while maximizing the use of company funds and assist in maintaining the teams budget tracking spreadsheets for reporting purposes
Assisting in the arrangement of travel, hotel accommodations and ground transportation for Vectorworks employees, perspective employees and guests.
Developing and maintaining working relationships with key vendors and service providers
Assisting in the development of internal company communications, company email announcements, company newsletter and digital signage
Providing support to the Employee Experience – Workplace Operation in various tasks and projects (including front desk coverage)
Providing support in various tasks, projects, and events to achieve company initiatives
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of a high school diploma and 2-5 years of related work experience
Ability to work collaboratively with others and utilize all resources available to achieve company goals.
Superior planning, time management, customer service and organizational skills
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and other database applications
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Must have a pleasant phone voice, ability to speak clearly and articulately
Must have a professional demeanor and presence
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently as well as a contributory team member.
Requires approximately 20% travel (once travel restrictions are lifted per official health regulations)
Intermediate skills with Adobe Suite, Trello, and Concur Travel Systems
