| Job Description : | JOB DESCRIPTION: THE STATLER RESIDENCES – CONCIERGE FLSA Status: Non-exempt Hours: Full-time; hours and shifts vary SUMMARY The Concierge will provide friendly, professional service to residents, guests, and vendors at The Statler Residences, a luxury living residence located in the heart of downtown Dallas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Greetings – getting to know names of residents to provide quality services; greet guests, obtain guest approval, take personal messages, etc. Arrange services – act as a personal assistant to residents; make dinner reservations, reserve entertainment tickets, facilitate deliveries, etc. Provide direction – use knowledge of the area to help assist residents with questions, especially those new to the area Other assistance – help with move ins & move outs; help residents with housekeeping and/or maintenance requests; Administration – keep logs and records of information such as resident vehicles, phone numbers, and local maintenance and service providers COMPETENCY Must have exceptional customer service skills Exhibit professionalism at all times while on premises, whether on or off the clock A good working knowledge of the area – both immediate area and general Dallas area – is important Proven organizational skills Must be able to be prompt and on-time for all shifts, as communication during shifts changes is very important Ability to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, guests, and peers/co-workers EXPERIENCE: Experience providing proven, exceptional customer service WORK ENVIRONMENT: Resident lobby environment, low noise level, mild temperature settings; moderate foot traffic PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting, typing, and viewing computer screen for extended periods of time; ability to navigate through buildings in order to do physical inspections; This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee in this position.
