Job Description : | Commercial Photographer, KGUN KGUN, the E.W. Scripps Company ABC affiliate in Tucson, Arizona is looking for a positive, proactive, creative, and highly engaged individual who will work as a Commercial Photographer in a key role of the creative services team. Responsibilities include shooting, editing, and developing commercials for sales presentations, as well as commercials for promotional spots that are aligned with and enhance the KGUN and EW Scripps brand. A DAY IN THE LIFE: Shoot video for wide range of station projects, including commercials, sales presentations, promotional spots, and programming. Edit video linear and nonlinear for wide range of station projects, including commercials, sales presentations, promotional spots, and programming. Drive company vehicle on various assignments. Work with clients, talent, account executives, and Commercial Production Manager in EFP and studio productions creating commercials and programming. Work with Commercial Production Manager developing ideas and writing scripts for client spots. Maintain Commercial Production Video and Music Library. Work with Commercial Production Manager to organize and administer the scheduling of all shooting and editing for the department productions. Edit on nonlinear edit systems and familiarity with digital based storage and servers Perform other duties as needed and directed by the Commercial Production Manager or General Sales Manager. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Proficiency with photography/videography lighting and computer-based editing programs, Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, Able to work efficiently under multiple deadlines on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
