| Job Description : | Character actors will play one of five suspects in a murder mystery that participants must solve. You will play a predetermined role and interact with participants in character. The right candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality and will LOVE hamming it up!Requirements: Quiet workspace, fast internet connection, and a computer with speakers and webcam.How online murder mysteries work: Players work together on zoom to interview suspects, evaluate evidence, and crack the case!What the character host will do: The character host is responsible for making sure guests have an immersive experience. Note that for a Zoom murder mystery, an over-the-top, extreme portrayal of the character comes off better than a subtle portrayal. Training will be provided. The most important part of the job is engaging with participants and making sure everyone has a blast! Each game is 60-90 minutes including instructions and wrap up. Your portion will be finished in 60 minutes the vast majority of time.Times: Work is scheduled by game time slot. You can choose which ones to sign up for. Pay is $15 per hour and games are about an hour. Some weeks you will work a lot, some less, it all depends on what slots we have to offer and what you have going on that week. There is no requirement to work each week.We are absolutely passionate about what we do at Escapely.
