| Job Description : | Department: CageJob Title: Cage CashierGeneral Definition: Cash tickets and chips presented by patrons while maintaining a balanced bank; provide service to our internal and external guests.Supervision Received: Cage Shift Supervisor, Cage Shift Manager, Operations ManagerSupervision Exercised: NoneEssential Job Functions: Cash out patrons, give correct change, answer patron questions in a courteous and professional manner to promote a positive entertainment experience.Count and record the exchange of assigned funds at the beginning and throughout the shift with a goal of enforcing accurate exchanges with internal and external guests. Balance all funds at the completion of each shift in partnership with a supervisor or manager.Stay current on all Casino promotions through communication with leadership and using internal resources such as out newsletter, Windtalker TV, and promotion cards.Complete all required departmental paperwork such as: Multiple Transaction Logs, opening and closing paperwork and any additional paperwork needed throughout the shift with accuracy while adhering to all related policies and procedures including: Title 31 regulatory requirements, MICS/TICS, Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Processes and departmental policies, procedures to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.Perform all other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to read, understand, apply and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations and policies.Must possess good eye and hand coordination and manual dexterity.Must be able to operate a computer, automated currency counters, calculator and related office equipment.Must be able to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.Must be able to work in an environment where second hand smoke is present.Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Must be able to stand, sit and walk for prolonged periods of time in order to properly perform the assigned job duties.Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds.Must be able to transport via pushing, pulling and lifting, at one time, multiple bags of currency, weighing up to twenty-five pounds each.Must be able to learn and demonstrate competencies to any new technology introduced into the department in a timely manner.Must be able to work flexible schedule including; evenings, weekends, holidays and promotional events.Training and Experience: Six months previous customer service experience preferred.Previous cash handling experience preferred.Licenses/Certifications/Other: Must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from the Chickasaw Nation office of the Gaming Commission as required to work in gaming operations.Must be able to pass cashier training and auditions where applicable.Must be able to pass Title 31.Must be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result.Job Type: Part-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:TipsApplication Question(s):Are you willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local laws and regulations?Work Location: One location |
