You can get a feel for Liberty Church at libertychurch.net and our Facebook page.Liberty Church is in search of a team player passionate about the worship ministry and excels in leading, recruiting, and building and developing teams.The role of the Worship Leader serves the Campus Pastor and Liberty Church by overseeing and coordinating the worship and production ministries at a Liberty Church Campus. The Worship Leader takes on the responsibility of guarding the spiritual culture and character of the applicable ministries and the relative staff, volunteer teams, and other people or groups as assigned. While your vocal and instrumental talents are crucial to the role, building a strong team and deep bench of volunteers is the core of the being a worship pastor at Liberty Church.Essential Job TasksWorship Department· Worship Leader/Pastor of the Campus· Recruit, train, and develop volunteer leaders to lead and execute every aspect of Sunday worship services and events.· Lead and manage the worship staff and volunteers· Lead and oversee the structures and systems of the worship team· Lead and oversee the scheduling, planning, recruiting, and training of the worship team· Lead and oversee the coordination meetings, activities, and weekend servicesProduction Department· Lead and oversee the operation and execution of the production team/tasks/projects including sound, lights and video.· Lead and oversee the structures and systems of the production team· Lead and oversee the scheduling, planning, recruiting, and training of the production team· Lead and oversee the coordination meeting, activities, and weekend servicesKnowledge, Skills, & CharacterKnowledge· Able to utilize CCB software· Able to utilize Planning Center Online software· Able to utilize/master current standard track software· Able to utilize/master ProPresenter presentation software· Able to utilize and use the Microsoft SuiteSkills· Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar (other instruments a plus)· Born recruiter and developer· The ability to build and lead strong volunteer teams· Creativity – the ability to take vision and create a practical, ministry application· Proficient with technology and software· Proficient with sound, video, lighting, staging, and all other AV/media technology· Ability to create, coordinate and lead a worship experience with a team· Excellent verbal and written skills· Highly organized· Strong leadership qualities/ability· Written Comprehension – The ability to read and understand information and ideas· High-capacity multi-task individual comfortable working without constant supervision· Highly self-motivated and directed· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment· Ability to handle multiple projects effectivelyCharacter· Genuine enthusiasm· Teachable· Team player· Heart of a servant· Fun/enjoyable/positive attitude· Loyal· Punctual· Solution oriented· Dependable· A person of your word· Pursuit of excellence· Pursuit of continual learning/development· Pastoral heart and care for others· Ability to relate and connect with volunteers, team leaders, and church members· Share the vision of Liberty Church to fulfill the Great Commission with integrity and passionEducation & ExperienceMust have 5 years of either vocational or educational experience (or a combination of the 2) in the respective fields.Equipment Used· Computers/various electronics· Sound system equipment· Lighting equipment· Office equipment (printers etc.)This role will likely have hours devoted to helping the campus or church in another area of ministry from media creation to youth ministry to administration.
