| Job Description : | EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Directly responsible to the General Manager, working in cooperation with the Events Production Manager.In charge of all pre-performance and performance elements for all Cain Park theater productions.Directly supervise all Designers, Technical Director, Assistant Technical Director, Scenic Artists, Wardrobe Personnel, Theater/Props Construction Crew and Running Crew.Set and facilitate the meeting of, all design deadlines with Artistic Staff.In conjunction with the Technical Director, order all necessary production materials, supplies, and rentals and coordinate their proper delivery and subsequent return or storage needs.Maintain weekly schedules with the Stage Managers.Responsible to contact and hire running crews for all theater productions, in conjunction with the General Manager.Maintain Theater set designs, light plots, sound plots and other paperwork.Cost out shows with the General Manager and stay within the theater and organizational budget and compromise when necessary.Schedule and attend all Theater production meetings.Attend, or schedule appropriate staff to attend, technical and dress rehearsals for all theater productions.Attend weekly staff meetings and any other meetings, as required by the Operations Manager and/or the General Manager.Supervise the proper training of any personnel required to operate any theater equipment unfamiliar to them.Supervise the use, handling, and security of any technical equipment, regardless of park or other organization ownership.Responsible for coordinating returns of all rentals and borrowed materials, including truck rental, if necessary, for shutdown.Work with all Cain Park departments for the successful set up and shut down of the facility.Maintain high safety levels at all times.
