Blue Man Group at the Astor Place Theatre is looking for a part-time Box Office Agent.

Responsibilities of this position include: Processing of all specialty ticket requests (House Seats, Past Dating, Gift Certificate redemptions, etc.) through the Ticket Master System (host platform), answer incoming customer service inquiries & fulfillments via phone & email, maintaining good customer relations, insuring a positive Blue Man experiences at all times by providing accurate and informative answers to customer questions maintaining prompt, professional and courteous responses to customer complaints. Work closely with the Group Sales Department, maintain good communication with Treasurer and Box Office staff, Box Office window ticketing sales & customer service including: processing window and broker ticket transactions; maintain accurate box office cash accounts; coordinate will-call pick-ups and transactions.
General knowledge of the Ticket Master ticketing system preferred, but not required. Good computer and phone skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet). Candidates should be able to maintain good customer relations and have a pleasant personality. Positive attitude is a must and applicants should be willing to work within the scheduling needs of the Treasurer.
This is a part time, hourly position, and candidates must have regular weekend availability. Part Time crew members must be flexible and available for shows during nights, weekends, and the holiday and spring break seasons. All employees are encouraged to attend full company meetings.
