Job Description : Position: Guest Service RepresentativePurpose of Position: Greet all Guests and provide a high quality Customer Service.1. Personally greet all Guests upon their arrival at the hotel in a professional, courteous manner.2. Register Guests and assign rooms in an accurate, timely and polite manner.3. Ensure Guests are directed to their room in a manner which ensures safety and security (mainly without announcing room numbers) With an understanding of the hotel and surrounding area.4. Answer telephone calls in a prompt manner (within four rings) and direct calls accurately or assist the caller with requests.5. Make and confirm all reservations in a polite, accurate and efficient manner.6. Compute bill and collect payment at check in/out from Guests in an accurate, efficient manner, maintaining hotel accounting, credit control and financial transaction procedures.7. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of Guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.8. Deposit Guests’ valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit box if requested.9. Understand and enforced the hotel company credit policies.10. Account for all cash and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies.11. Communicate effectively with other front office and hotel departments.12. Report to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.13. Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.14. Display a consistent team oriented demeanor at all times by maintaining clear channels of communication with upper management, fellow employees and Guests in compliance with company policies.15.Ensure all decisions regarding employees, company issues, Guest service, laws, rules, regulations and safety are made from an objective analysis of the situation and the stated position of the company.16: Good communication skills is needing for Sales Efforts in obtaining good reviews, Company Based Guests, etc in which incentives are provided.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $8.50 – $9.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred)Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
