| Job Description : | In order to make this a full-time position with benefits, we are combining the Youth Pastor and Worship Pastor positions. The salary includes free housing.Youth Pastor Position responsibilities: Lead students from 6th– 12th grade into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible teaching, mentorship and life exampleCoordinate and lead Wednesday night youth meetings along with other events including but not limited to Sunday school, Bible studies, camps, outreach, etc.Care for, spend time with and disciple students from grades 6th through 12thRecruit and equip volunteers and student leaders who will minister to and disciple other studentsCommunicate effectively with parents about the ministryCreate a welcoming environment that challenges students to grow in their faith, service and leadership abilitiesActively make an effort to ensure the growth and health of the ministryCoordinate fundraising opportunities for additional expenses (summer camp, missions trips)Attend occasional staff meetings and participate in planning and implementing church programs that will fulfill the mission and vision of the churchWorship Pastor Position responsibilities: Lead dynamic and engaging worship at our contemporary Sunday morning service and other occasional special eventsIdentify, recruit, equip and lead band members for Sunday morning worshipCultivate a heart of worship among the congregationLead practice with band once per weekAttend occasional staff meetings and participate in planning and implementing church programs that will fulfill the mission and vision of the church5-10 hours per weekYouth Pastor Position Requirements: Strong and consistent personal relationship with Jesus ChristCommitment to the mission and vision of Island Community ChurchPassion for teaching and leading studentsHighly motivated to carry out vision of the student ministryAbility to build and maintain meaningful relationshipsAt least 3 years of experience as a youth pastorWorship Pastor Position RequirementsStrong and consistent personal relationship with Jesus ChristCommitment to the mission and vision of Island Community ChurchProficiency in leading worship vocallyAbility to work well as a teamKnowledge of Pro-Presenter, CCLI, Planning Center, A/V preferred but not requiredSalary: $35,000-$40,000 plus free housing in a 2/2 house.Work RemotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planApplication Question(s):To get to know you better, please submit links to social media pages as well as a picture of you/family.
