| Job Description : | Ability to produce a music program utilizing the best elements of contemporary Christian (i.e. Christian worship music written within the 21st Century, including modern arrangements of classic hymns) and Gospel (Christian worship music reflecting an upbeat urban style characterized by dominant vocals and strong harmony). Musical artists from which the contract should draw inspiration include (but are not limited to): Chris Tomlin, Citizens, Kings Kaleidoscope, David Crowder, The Modern Post, Ascend the Hill, Kirk Franklin, Jonathan McReynolds, Anthony Brown, Travis Green, Jakayln Carr, and Fred Hammond.Ability to lead a diverse (in age and ethnicity) group of singers and instrumentalists to produce high quality music for Protestant worship targeting young military families (20s-40s).Ability to coordinate with the primary service chaplain to ensure musical selections meet the intended target audience for the service.Ability to play a variety of musical instruments – i.e. piano, guitar, etc.This is a long term contract2 hours on Sundays & 1 rehearsal service for at least 1/2 hour and up to 2 hours for a total of 4 hours per week.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $33.50 per hourEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Playing an instrument: 3 years (Preferred)Worship leadership: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
