Job Description summary:
Responsible for various service areas of the Operations department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
Responsible for the morale and direction of all front-line associates.
Ensures the quality of systems operations in all department areas by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance, as needed.
Routinely inspects all supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same, if possible.
Facilitates the flow of information throughout the Operations Department by attending regularly scheduled meetings.
Responsible for providing racing programs and the removal of bill and ticket jams in the self-bet machines in the VLT building and hotel.
Responsible for assisting customers with ATM issues/complaints.
Responsible for implementing and using the company’s “Be the BEST” culture with all guests and Associates.
All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises the activities of all of the Operations Attendants and directly supervises the activities of all VLT systems in the VLT building.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems with customers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required. Previous customer service preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple documents, such as safety rules and regulations, technical procedure manuals, instructions, and basic correspondence, reports and memos. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from system users. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Sign on Bonus is payable at $250 after 3 months, $250 after 6 months and $500 at a year. Conditions Apply and will be discussed at time of hire. The Manager has the right to amend or discontinue at any time.
