Position Summary

We are currently hiring our Event Coordinator. This role is an incredibly exciting and varied challenge for someone with exceptional events and food and beverage experience. Successfully supports the execution and supervision of all events programmed, including daily operations, special on-site and off-site events.

While you are here, you will:
Hands-on approach on daily and event orchestration, happy to lead by example and take on any task required to deliver the highest standard possible
Lead and guide the Club service team to provide excellent hospitality to Preview Club guests
Oversight and assst with the set-up, breakdown and service for day-to-day and event operations—including technology
Assist with uploading and preparing material within the anthem room and meeting rooms for executives and sales team/sponsorship presentations
Problem solve and communicate with challenging logistical situations to Management
Build relationships with building staff, sales team and operations staff. You will work effectively with these team members to facilitate their delivery of the events onsite to the highest standard, ensuring site deadlines are met and teams are working in an efficient manner
Demonstrate an understanding of the client journey experience- i.e., food, beverage, gifting and event styling
Work with multiple suppliers to ensure deliveries are on time and as per specification
Assist with food prep, presentation and table setting etiquette and bussing
Prepare menus, client profile sheets, run-of-day, daily check-lists, giftbags, and end of day recaps
Arrange and assist with daily briefings and trainings
Maintain a strong organizational presence across operations for private meeting and events are organized, on time for deadlines, and communicated appropriately
Responsible to log and report all sanitation, organization, and food handling discrepancies
Greet, welcome and escort all guests and members with enthusiasm and friendliness
Comfortable with executing Wellness Screenings for employees and guests
Assist guests with coat check closet, phone charging and perform coat check duties as required
Serves food and beverages (including spirits/wine) in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards and state and federal regulations
Report merchandise inventory nightly/monthly for the Preview Club operations and hospitality needs
Follow proper opening/closing and security procedures
Maintain the cleanliness and disinfecting protocols of all areas of the space—while adhering to the COVID-19 health and safety protocols

What you need to be qualified:
F&B, sales and events experience and supervision skills.
NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Food Protection Certificate
Strong proficiency in organization, problem solving and communication
Lifting 25 lbs., standing and walking for long periods
Must be flexible to work according to the events requirements including occasional evenings and weekends; willing to travel to other venues as needed.
Ability to multitask and work towards targets in a fast-paced environment, while being resilient and capable of managing stressful situations
