Job Description : Overview:

The Catering & Conference Senior Services Manager is responsible for all aspects of upcoming conference groups. Handle all group details once made definite by Group Sales, including but not limited to the program and meeting set up through group departure. The Manager is a liaison between the meeting planner and Resorts World Las Vegas and communicates group’s needs to all required departments. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a Guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that Guest and do so with a smile. If the Guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department/individual.
Primary Job Duties – Includes, but is not limited to:
Supervise and evaluate work of Conference Services Administrative staff.
Produce group resumes and appropriate documentation specific to each group e.g. BEO’s, internal emails etc.
Prepare and oversee the groups needs such as transportation, guestrooms, meetings, pre-planning, pre-payments, credit applications, limos, amenities, site inspections, etc.
Organize pre-conference meetings for those clients who require finalizing at the arrival of meeting planner.
Input and maintain group information in Delphi and assist in maintaining physical condition of the conference area.
Continued communication with the group upon arrival at property, as well as throughout the duration of the meeting.
Ensure contract specifications are met including but not limited to payment, reservation procedures and all program activities.
Arrange post-conference reports. Keep complete and in-depth files on all future and past conference groups as directed by departmental standards.
Conduct site visits to ensure that necessary meeting facilities are reserved, where applicable.
Host prospective clients visiting the hotel to include customer entertainment, dining in hotel restaurants and accompanying to shows.
Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required:
At least five years of experience in Hotel Sales, Catering, Conference and Special Events in a similar or related field.
At least three years of leadership/management experience in a similar or related field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
Ability to successfully mentor a team.
At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Delphi and Opera.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
