|Job Description :||General Summary of Job Duties
Responsible for supervising and overseeing the Table Games pit on assigned shift to safeguard casino asset and to ensure compliance with the stat gaming rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Must have all the skills of a dealer and an understanding of all Table Games.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
? Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement.
? Oversees the activities of all Table Games personnel and games being played on the assigned sift to ensure compliance with gaming rules and regulations.
? Monitors all games to ensure that house limits are being enforced.
? Prepares and implements work schedules of all Table Games personnel on the shift.
? Makes necessary changes to meet operational demands.
? Orders, receives and issues cards and dice to the casino pit.
? Oversees inspection of the cards and dice for irregularities before and after issuance to the casino pit.
? Promotes positive customer service by assisting guests in room reservation, provision of comps, addressing complaints and resolving problems when necessary.
? Maintains the proper table banks through fills and credits.
? Completes the daily log of shift events and results.
? Prepares and submits at the end of the shift all necessary reports related to the pit operation.
? Sees to it that the pit is kept clean and equipment is in proper working condition.
? Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
? Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
? Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
? Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Employees, and Vendors.
? Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
? Regular attendance and arriving on time to all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
? Other duties as assigned.
