To see the Experience for yourself, be sure to check us out at ExperienceSeuss.com!The position is scheduled to begin in mid-to-late March 2022, and last for the duration of our time in Denver, approximately 4 months, with the opportunity to extend based on ticket sales and customer success metrics.As a Seuss Experience Puppeteer, you would be bringing the iconic Cat in the Hat to life through our interactive puppet! You’ll be able to see and hear all guests within the vicinity, and respond to them with appropriate responses, humor, jokes and more!Job Description:As a member of our Seuss Experience Character Team, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:- Adhere to the Dr. Seuss Character integrity guidelines – ensuring our Character team members are properly representing the character costumes (Appearance, Cleaning/Maintenance, Acting) at all times.- Perform as the Cat in the Hat, understanding his mannerisms, demeanor, etc.- Provide world class customer service to our guests, facilitating guess feedback and concerns to relevant management as necessaryQualifications:- High School Diploma Required, College experience preferred but not required.- 1 Year Experience in acting, character work, puppeteering, voiceovers, or similar requested.- While there are no dedicated height requirements for the position, the puppeteer will be working in small spaces for up to 45 minutes.- Fluency in English required. Proficiency in other languages a plus, but not required.- Ability to work 20-40 hours per week including weekends, evenings and holidays.- This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, repetitive motions, working in confined spaces, bending, kneeling and climbing, at times while wearing costume.
