Bento Box Entertainment is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor for the 2D animated primetime comedy series, HouseBroken!
The Production Supervisor will oversee the design and color department and is responsible for working with the department heads and managing production staff.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the Production Coordinators, Production Assistants, and their department crew
Collaborate and work closely with the Producers and Production Manager in maintaining the master schedule for production
Oversee Design and Color departments, supervising workflow to achieve deadlines
Assist Color department with preparing design comps for executive review
Supervise Coordinators ensuring accuracy of Shotgrid design breakdowns, assignments, and leadsheets
Prepare all final color design files for shipping to overseas animation studio
Provide answers to all design and color related animation studio questions
Recognize and report any staffing, creative, and technical issues that affect the weekly schedule and deadlines
Look ahead to ensure weekly quotas, department milestones and inventory expectations are met
Use Shotgrid to create and maintain reports that clearly illustrate department and individual artist productivity
Collaborate with Coordinators to task assignments and issue deadlines to artists and prioritize their daily workload
Be mindful of the remote working environment and check in with production team and artists daily
Manage, motivate, and create an environment conducive to achieving quotas and creative vision
Represent the department in weekly production meetings
Report department progress and be prepared to discuss solutions to issues impeding the department
Ensure all data is tracked accurately via Shotgrid
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in 2D Animation Production in a supervisory role
Must have experience managing a Design department
Must be thoroughly experienced with Shotgrid, Google Suite, Photoshop
Ability to understand, breakdown, adapt and explain pipeline and process
Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. |
