Job Description : Our client in the entertainment industry is seeking a Production Coordinator in the Washington DC area. The Production Coordinator role is responsible for coordination and program production duties for the executive producer team based in Washington, DC with a household name in television responsible for approximately 270 hours of programming at any point in the year. Overall responsibilities include providing administrative support, inputting production status information into databases, tracking show materials, and record maintenance. The person will provide administrative support to 5 executive producers and 1 Vice President. The administrative support will consist of record maintenance (i.e. crew rosters, tracking show materials, etc.) This person will also support the team with submitting reports as well as liaising & communicating with other departments. This person will be coordinating calendars and arranging travel as needed for the team as well.

Job Summary:
Monday- Friday
9am-6pm with potential for OT
Location: Washington DC. The position is currently remote and will transition to an onsite schedule in the future.
Pay $26/hour
This position will start as soon as possible
Temporary role with the potential to extend and / or convert to full-time employment after about a 6-month period
2 step interview process; 1st step will likely be with the manager and 2nd step will be a group/ interview with the team
Responsibilities:
Administrative support for Executive Producers including setting up calls, meetings, booking meeting rooms, arranging travel, and managing expenses
Support Executive Producers to submit information for all reports including reports for Production/ production calendar update
Consistent update of materials on VPS (Visual Production Scheduler) and various tracking systems, and working with programming, Producer of Marketing & Distribution, and the Executive Producers to push materials through the process.
Create cut links as requested
Share materials / follow up with internal & external contacts as directed by Producers
Guide team all system changes, protocols and updates
Liaise with Executive Producers for tech and logistical support including access to materials.
Create and coordinate vacation calendars for the team
From time to time, support AP for content management and Festival submissions.
Less of the time duties will include to Maintain talent and crew rosters/ team phone tree
Required Qualifications:
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills are required.
Strong verbal and written communication preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects, team-work, and ability to take initiative to problem solve. The ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints is required.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Outlook and Explorer. Excellent oral and written communication skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to juggle multiple pressing assignments simultaneously.
Highly organized person who possesses office acumen.
Multitasker with great communication
Positive assertiveness skills
Comfortable working in multiple systems, i.e. Dropbox, Teams, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office(Word, Excel PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
Comfortable working on MAC.
Communications background
Interest in Environment, Science, Animals, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with editing software including Filemaker Pro, Adobe Suite, FinalCut Pro, and Photoshop, or other a plus.
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat preferred.
Knowledge of production and post production process a plus.
Experience in Production preferred.
B.A. / B.S. or Experience in Production preferred but only 2 years of college is required.
