| Job Description : | Job AnnouncementOur Lady of Loretto, Novato, Ca is looking for part-time Praise/Worship musicians for its new Praise and Worship mass to begin in late summer at the Saturday 5 pm masses. We are looking for 4 vocalists (SATB) and Guitar/electric guitar, Bass, and 2nd keyboard/solo instrument players. These positions report to the Parish Music Director and are responsible for providing accompaniment and leadership as a cohesive group to celebrate the Holy Mass each week and possibly some Holy Days TBD. Required is the ability to work independently in a self-motivated and self-directed manner, and work collaboratively with the Parish Music Director, attend weekly rehearsals, and accompany masses each week as scheduledThe candidates should be proficient vocalists with the ability to quickly learn and sing harmonies that suit the needs of the music or instrumentalists with the ability to quickly learn and play possibly a new repertoire each week. In addition, candidates should have strong familiarity with the Catholic Mass and liturgical music used.To apply, please send a resume and audio or video sample to Richard Elliott, Parish Music Director.
