| Job Description : | Marching Penguin is looking for a full-time Post Production Supervisor to start ASAP.Marching Penguin is a Los Angeles-based production company that specializes in helping innovative companies in technology, gaming, entertainment, analytics, and e-commerce tell empowering stories through digital and social video. Since 2012, the company has helped up-and-coming startups, as well as major Fortune 500 clients like Sony, Fox, Ford, Facebook, and many more, to produce more than 2000 videos.The Role:The post-production supervisor will simultaneously oversee the full post-production process of multiple projects. In addition, they will be the guiding hand making sure that all projects are completed on time and with high quality.Basic Qualifications:At least two years of experience managing the post-production process for commercials and branded content.Experience with a diverse background with different video styles, including live-action, documentary-style, motion graphics, and animation.A rudimentary understanding of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Media Encoder, and Photoshop.Possesses high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.The ability to identify potential problems and quickly pose creative solutionsKey Responsibilities:Create and maintain the post schedule to meet deadlines through all stages of post-production such as; editing, sound editing and mixing, any necessary VFX effects, and color grading.Manage our team of editors and other freelance creatives.Serve as liaison between Marching Penguin and the client, including but not limited to creative agencies, marketing executives, and outside post-production facilities.Must stay in direct contact with the internal team and clients to deliver regular project updates resulting in delivering content that aligns with their vision.Quality Control for all final assets.Preference to those who are LA-based, vaccinated and can work in an office environment.Please submit your resume along with any relevant work.
