| Job Description : | Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a passionate, talented Lighting Designer to join our team. This person will program and design lighting for services. A person who is skilled with creativity and aligns with Eagle Brook’s creative brand will thrive in this role. If you are passionate about the details related to production, and you enjoy working in collaboration with other artists, you may be the perfect candidatePOSITION SUMMARYLeads the creative design and execution of lighting for weekend service, special events and Student Ministries at scheduled campuses. Supports the Technology team in maintenance on all lighting systems at scheduled campuses. Assists in the development and training of lighting volunteers. Reports to the Lead Lighting Designer.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESPrograms and designs lighting for all weekend services, special events, and Student Ministries in a way that inspires people to engage with JesusAligns with the vision for all services as lead and directed by the Production DirectorResponsible for lighting console programming, operation, and executionCollaborates with Stage Design team and serves as project manager at scheduled campuses during Stage Design installsCollaborates with other Production staff around the preparation and planning process for services and events at scheduled campusesAssists the Campus Production Managers/Campus Producers in development of lighting volunteersSupports the Technology team on campus expansion, system maintenance, and projectsOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSAssociate degree, technical school degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredMinimum 2 years working in a music, live production, creative, or church environment requiredFollower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefsUnderstanding of current professional lighting technology including: GrandMA series consoles, entertainment rigging, power distribution, and network systemsKnowledge and ability to operate technical gear including conventional fixtures, moving fixtures, basic electrical equipment, and other lighting equipmentSelf-motivated, able to work independently, high energy, strong work ethic, and follow throughWORK SCHEDULEGenerally, Wednesday – Sunday. Must be available Wednesday nights for Student Ministries and occasional evenings for events.
