Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in internal or executive communications.
Experience working with in-house tech and entertainment communications while providing thoughtful counsel.
Experience with coordinating content for events (e.g., video, graphics, and multimedia expertise).
Experience working across different levels, functions, and teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
About the job
As an Internal Communications Manager, you will help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders, and employees about the benefits of Google and YouTube’s products. In this role, you will combine creativity with organizational skills to manage numerous and varied projects on tight deadlines simultaneously. You will also be working with stakeholders, pitching to journalists, bloggers, and commentators, and producing internal communications and events for our employees.
Develop, write, and edit communications for executives including emails, talking points, FAQs, presentations, and video scripts.
Provide advice to executives that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders to produce clear messaging on complex and nuanced topics, as well as identify creative strategies for communicating to employees across different functions and global offices.
Help coordinate content and speakers for internal events of various sizes and audiences.
