| Job Description : | Buday’s Home Electronics Simplified, an established, well-respected, and growing company, seeks hardworking technicians and assistant technicians to join our team of designers and installers. This full-time position is ideal for people who are interested in career advancement in an exciting and ever-changing industry. You will be on the front lines of smart home automation, custom indoor and outdoor entertainment, and theater and lighting systems. Even if you have no experience in the industry, we will train the right individual.This is a full-time, hourly position. Typical work week is Monday-Friday; with some overtime evening work and overnight travel. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. Pay is commensurate with experience.Duties and Essential Job Functions· Installing and pulling wire· Integrating best-in-class smart home products into luxury homes· Operating machinery and industry-standard power tools (hammer, drills, shovels, etc.)· Desire to continue learning and improve skills· Ability to learn and use smart phone apps/computer software· Able to climb ladders, scaffolding, work at heights, and lift and carry items weighing 50+ pounds unassisted· Keep company vehicles and warehouse neat and orderlyRequirements· An interest in home technology and audio-visual systems· Willingness to learn and excel; a desire for a career not just a job· Ability to learn on the job and attend company-paid training· Maintain a professional appearance· A strong work ethic· Attention to detail and commitment to quality· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record· Must be able to pass background check and drug test· Reliable transportation to the office· Able to work as part of a team and independently· A high school diploma or GED· Experience working with an electrician, a security or cable company is a plus· A working knowledge of audio-visual terminology is a plus· Willingness to experience new things on the job every day to advance your skillsThis position is ideal for people who have an interest in innovation and cutting-edge, smart technology and who also desire a career that requires both mental and physical proficiency.
