|Job Description :||USPAGL Graphic Designer USPA Global Licensing (USPAGL) is seeking a Graphic Designer to assist in creating and managing global marketing assets that effectively promote the organization, U.S. Polo Assn. and Nantucket Whaler as well as provide graphic design support to internal departments. The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Director, Creative Services, and work in conjunction with all internal teams and vendors to create design solutions that have a high visual impact and properly represent U.S. Polo Assn. and Nantucket Whaler to our Licensees and consumers. Projects will include, but not limited to: graphic design for email communications, social media platforms, digital banners, presentations, store signage, print advertising and photo retouching. Learn more at globalpolo.com.Responsibilities · Support USPA Global Licensing Inc, its Licensees and the brands U.S. Polo Assn. and Nantucket Whaler by conceptualizing, designing and producing eye-catching visual solutions in all forms of print and digital assets· Uphold brand standards across all creative deliverables.· Translate creative requests (briefs) and execute on the print and digital deliverables needed.· Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams to create content plans and ensure deadlines are met· Responsible for processes and deliverables with multiple stakeholders through influencing· Gathers research, information and materials/graphics/photos needed from appropriate individuals/sources to accomplish tasks.· Develop and maintain design templates for use in digital and print communications, documents, and presentations.· Translate information and copy regarding strategies, initiatives and products and distill it into easy-to-understand designs that support the strategy and brand.· Develop assets with a keen eye for typography, layout and attention to detail.· Stay informed of industry trends, technology innovations and competitors’ presence.· Manage creative assets on internal servers and external Brand Portal software to ensure safe and efficient storage. This includes adding appropriate metadata and keywords to assets.· Manage Digital delivery and print production· Participate in pre- and post-production of photo shoots as needed.· Attend and assist during photo shoots as needed.· Design and prepare high-quality files to specifications whether for print or digital submissions· Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand· Display problem-solving skills to address and solve problems that arise· Ability to handle retouching, color correction, editing and resizing/cropping of images as needed for creative assets.Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field preferred.· Minimum 5 years of experience in areas of graphic design, marketing and/or advertising.· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS platform. Specifically: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Bridge. Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams and Google suite of software. Specifically: Slides and Sheets· Must submit a strong portfolio that clearly demonstrates digital and print design work and be able to speak clearly to their role in the examples of work provided.· Able to create and execute of a broad array of visual communication pieces· Proven skills and educational training in typography, layout hierarchy, composition, color theory, and information design· Able to pitch creative ideas and participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions· Has a positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow and ask questions?· Has strong time-management skills, able to be flexible and open to changing priorities· Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines· A team player who is also able to work independently and take initiative· Comfortable with and receptive to constructive criticism; able to address feedback quickly and accurately· Strong attention to detail and able to proofread to ensure accurate and high-quality work· Willing to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with reasonable notice.· Has superior written and verbal communication.
