Job Description : Lynn Family Stadium operated by ASM Global is a multi-use entertainment venue in Louisville, Kentucky. The Lynn Family Stadium offers a variety of world class events including concerts, family shows, sporting events and other special events, while providing a clean and safe environment and guaranteeing the ideal entertainment guest experience and satisfaction.

ASM Global houses offices on five continents, the company uses its global network of venues, portfolio of powerful sports and music brands, ticketing and content distribution platforms and its integrated entertainment districts to deliver the most creative and innovative live sports and entertainment experiences that inspire athletes, teams, artists and fans.

The Event Manager will be responsible for the oversight and scheduling of events at Lynn Family Stadium. This includes maintaining the stadium event calendar. They will report directly to the Assistant General Manager at Lynn Family Stadium.

Responsible for overall management, communication, and production of sports event operations and other events as assigned. Provides on-site supervision of events and leads company execution on event days including pre-event safety walks to ensure efficient operations on event days.
Manages, coordinates, and plans all aspects of events from inquiries through settlements and invoicing to ensure the venue is ready for the event and the clients
Serves as the primary liaison between clients and the venue on event day as it pertains to events, rules and regulations, standard operating procedures, and production notes for each event that occur to ensure a successful operation.
Hires, trains, and manages game day employees to ensure all event operations are ready on-time.
Directs and leads cultivation of relationships with new and existing clients. Assists the marketing department on marketing rentable space at the stadium.
Monitors events and takes proactive action on behalf of the venue. Makes timely decisions and informs other departments and the client in a timely manner. Troubleshoots issues during events as they arise.
Manages event budget and all related expenses.
Assist at other ASM Global Louisville venues as required.

Assists supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

BA/BS degree (4-year) or a related degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience working sports and/or special events or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience managing multiple staff members at a professional level
Excellent communication skills, ability to focus on details, strong organizational skills, effective problem-solving skills, flexibility, and self-motivation
Ability to interact with all levels of staff including coaching staff and management.


Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Capacity to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e. heat, rain, cold, snow, wind)
