How we act, what we say, and how we interact matter.We all serve one common goal, to provide the best experience and to interact with each other and guests positively, responsively, supportively.Our venues are multifaceted facilities offering activities such as go kart racing, bowling, axe throwing, live music, f&b, large arcades, laser tag, etc.Your Role: General ManagerSummary Description: General Manager is the top-level role in the venue, coordinating all activities, team member activities, maintenance, and guest experience.Your Responsibilities: · Assume control of all teams and staff activities.· Proactively interact and look to promote growth and success of all team members.· Coordinate and maintain accurate and appropriate schedules and employee counts for all departments.· You will directly oversee staff of:o Arcadeo Bowling (if applicable)o Food & Beverageo Hospitality Serviceso Front Desko Facility Cleaning· You will manage all suppliers and service contract vendors.· You will recruit and train new team members.· You will coach and work to maintain best service first team members to achieve excellent guest experience.· You will actively participate in special event planning and large event planning and execution.· You will become proficient in both understanding and oversight of all mechanical and equipment used to maintain ice and facilities.· You will leaner and become proficient at reporting and communication with our home office, including finance, HR and ownership.· You will participate in budgeting process and tracking budget process of revenue and expenses versus budget.· You will review, approve, and process all invoices and receipts for purchases.· You will maintain an accurate and organized filing system of all vendor invoices and operational files.· You will become familiar with all educational programs and educate staff on all arena programs to be able answer guests’ inquiries.· You will follow and maintain all professional answers to all email inquiries.· You will enforce polite, courteous, positive, and helpful approach of all staff members in guest relations.· You will constantly work to achieve high marks in customer experience, venue cleanliness, venue readiness, and guest reviews.· You will demonstrate calm, organized and thoughtful response to emergency situations.· You will be able to be certified or have been certified as a Food Safety “ServSafe” Manager within the first 2-weeks of employment.· You will be able to be certified or have been certified as a Responsible Alcohol Service Manager within the first 2-weeks of employment.· You will maintain an organized and clear, professional and cordial manner of speech and behavior, setting an example for others.· You will be able to manage conflict and problem resolution in a calm and professional manner.· You will oversee and manage all inventories.· You will over see all ordering and vendor service agreements, ensuring proper operations of all facility systems and stock levels.· You will assist and perform all cash handling, deposits, and on-site cash levels.· You will master various technology, systems and processes used to operate the arena.· You will seek to improve venue operations and performance of team members, with a focus on labor cost management and reduction.· You will identify issues and present clear solutions.· You will take direction positively and execute same successfully.· You actively participate in perpetuating cooperation and cross department support.· Recruitment of new leagues (if applicable)· Vendor selectionYour Progression: Our organization looks for leadership to develop from within. If you are found to need more time, we will discuss that with you.Pay rate increases are not automatic, rather they are earned. Your ability to earn more and do more is only limited by your performance and demonstrated mastering of duties.Your Report: You will answer to the home office and execute such direction as needed.
