Primarily based in a SoHo loft, we are an in-house Agency perfectly embedded within the ever-expanding Comcast NBCUniversal microverse. We are committed to deliver best-in-class 360 advertising, creative content & experiences for Xfinity and to its consumers. We are a motley crew of good kids.
Core Responsibilities:
Good Kid is seeking opinionated, open-minded, original & authentic individuals to join our in-house creative agency in an unrivaled opportunity to transition, architect & own the Xfinity Retail practice. As the Creative Director, Retail at Good Kid, you’ll oversee & craft designs for all retail creative communications. Overseeing a team of art directors & designers, you set the tone for communications for all fixtures, displays, product launches, across all Xfinity retail channels.
Most Days You:
Play a creative leadership role within the In House Agency
Develop retail visual creative solutions.
Create impactful visual elements for our retail fleet.
Quickly iterate new visual concepts/formats, in multiple visual options.
Collaborate with Design & Studio to artfully build creative solutions to address specific project objectives.
Contribute in developing initial creative strategies to address core marketing and business objectives across the retail channels.
Participate in the ideation process leveraging research, analytics, and brand insights.
Produce work that adheres to brand standards, but also able to explore new interpretations of the brand and develops out-of-the-box approaches to grow the retail experience.
Translate business requirements into clear visual design direction in a physical environment.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. You Bring:
Excellent knowledge of design techniques, practices and technologies
Retail visual graphics experience.
Understanding of how to develop concepts that meet design and business needs.
8-10+ years of art direction and management experience in fast-paced environment.
Experience with creative across a variety of disciplines (Retail, Experiential, Branded Content, Print, TV, Digital, Social).
Willingness to provide portfolio.
The Ideal Match:
Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Art, Design, or related field.
Portfolio with demonstrated creative conceptualization skills.
External graphic design studio experience.
Track record of concepting scalable programs for a national communications retailer with varying customer touch points.
Strong presentation skills.
