We’re dynamic and we know it.The Corporate Content Writer/Editor is responsible for writing and proofreading content to be published through a variety of outlets, including digital, in print and in additional marketing and advertising materials. The Corporate Publication Writer/Editor must be able to self-edit work, change written tone with ease, complete projects on time and write effectively for multiple formats. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of writing and proofreading experience. This position will be based at our New Lenox location at 1901 Ferro Dr, New Lenox, IL.As the Corporate Content Writer/Editor, you will:Write, proofread, and edit content to deliver messages and ensure materials meet company guidelines and brand standards.Create compelling, innovative, entertaining, and informative content to coincide with products and services, websites, digital campaigns, social media, promotions, newsletters, marketing materials, press releases, special announcements, company milestones and special events.Demonstrate resilience and ability to accept constructive feedback.Collaborate with graphic designers, web production, and other teams to write and version communications and messages across digital and print platforms.Write in accordance with specified format, tone and brand voice.Self-edit and proofread others work for accuracy, spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors before initial submission.Contribute to company document database.Demonstrate ability to build cooperative, effective relationships with diverse internal and external audiences.Engage as a self-motivated detail-orientated team player.Demonstrate project and time management skills and the ability to consistently meet multiple deadlines.Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, written and communication skills.Interpret discussions and materials to write effective communications that are easily understood by audiences.Revise and refresh previously published materials as requested.Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Let’s unpack this – Who are we?Founded in 1956, Munch’s Supply is the exclusive distributor for Trane and American Standard HVAC products in Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana and the lower peninsula of Michigan.
